The flower of Brunei Darussalam

This plant is the national flower of Brunei and can be found across the country.

 
It is a large evergreen shrub with yellow flowers of 10-12cm wide.
 
The fruit is pink and has star-shaped capsule with purple seeds that have a fleshy, bright red aril.
 
This plant can be seen on Brunei’s 1 dollar note.
